Outstanding albumen of 2 young women being transported atop of a camel covered in an elaborate tent. Another ornately decorated camel proceeds them in the procession. Titled in the negative #1463, it reads Chameausc porte-sonettes et porte – palanquin and is identified to Bonfils. Nice deep rich brown tones the image is unmounted and measures 8 ½” x 11” and has been custom matted to 14” x 18”. $350
